WFMW - The Kitchen Edition
This week is the kitchen edition of Works-for-Me Wednesday at Rocks in My Dryer. My tip is nothing profound; I just wanted to share a cooking accessory that I use a lot. It is the Mini-Serving Spatula from Pampered Chef. It is small, narrow, and perfect for serving small portions. I find it especially handy when I need to serve small portions from a 9x13 pan (brownies, for example). I often take it to use at potlucks or get-togethers, and I always make sure it has my name on it so I don't lose it! An added bonus is the price; it is only $4.00! I love this product, and it definitely works-for-me!

I have one of these and *love* it!
A couple of years ago my husband managed to melt the handle a bit so it has a little squiggle in it. I had an extra Mini-Serving Spatula (intended as a gift for someone) and nearly chucked my own, but decided that I rather liked the squiggledy handle. It always makes me think of my Sweetie when I use it, and reminds me to be thankful for a man who's not afraid of the kitchen.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I do have a baking stone for my toaster oven and I love it!

Funny.... I also have a mini spatula! I just got it for Christmas and sadly only used it for the first time this weekend when I baked cookies. It's fantastic! Mine's not from PChef, but it's the same concept. It was so much easier than a plastic spatula... I think it will using it a lot more often from now on.

We have 4 or 5 mini-spatulas and use them on a very regular basis. Having several means I don't have to worry about one being in the dishwasher.
