Photo Hunters - Fake

My kids are hesitant around real animals, but the fake kind are loads of fun! When we visited Chattanooga last week, we enjoyed the merry-go-round at Coolidge Park. My son selected a cat, and my daughter chose a horse. We were the only ones there at 9:30 in the morning, so we had all the fake animals to ourselves.

Of course, I am a fake as well. What used to be natural is now paid for every other month. I just can't let go of being blonde! You can see what's real and what's not in this picture if you look at my part because it was almost time for me to visit my friendly stylist for some highlights.

The pictures of the kids are adorable!

We have about the same hair cut, although I got my colored last night and had some length taken off - it was about the same length as yours in the picture.

Cute pics of the kids! I agree, fake animals are better. :-)

Have a great weekend!

Wow ~ what a treat to have the animals all to yourself! =)

Now I'm curious to know what your natural hair color is! It almost appears to be a medium golden brown? But if you're like me, you can't really remember anymore!

Why is it that natural blondes lose their blond when they get older? Brunettes don't have to deal with that. I can't let go of my blond either--I thought I was ready to try--I even skipped my last color appt.--but I can guarantee I won't be missing the next one. Besides, B. always lets me know when my "skunk stripe" (as he calls it) is showing. Fake Blondes Unite!

You're not fake. That makes you normal!

I love the photos of the kids. They are uber cute! I just want to hug them :)

Oh we love those carousels they are so much fun. Ah yes I could have used my hair as well (didn't think of that - although I got it done yesterday, so no regrowth to show how fake it is!!). Happy weekend.

Merry-go-rounds, still around after all these years. Lovely shots, you didn't have to admit to the fake coloured hair. We would never have known.

I can't let go of mine either Lauren! When you are used to being blond all your life, your face just doesn't look right with dark hair. That's my excuse anyway, and not only do highlights brighten my hair... they also brighten my mood :o)
Cute pics!

Wow, I've never seen a cat like that on a carousel, that is one freaky looking pussy cat!

Nice selection for the theme and I think your hair natural or fake looks very pretty.

Yeah, I agree, the cat is a little scary. I prefer real cats! ;-) Kids are cute as buttons, though! Your daughter looks like your MiniMe. ;-) FAKE Photo Hunt

Fantastic choice for fake, and the children are adorable. And might I add, brunettes have to color their hair too,... so those skunk stripes don't show either,.. lol. Have a great weekend.

Your kids are just beautiful!..and as for that fake remark abbout us blondes...lol...I think most of us women would qualify for FAKE...but theres nothing fake about my ownership of buying that blonde bottle! lol...My photo is up, please come and visit

We love those old-fashioned carousels too. The cat with the fish in his mouth always seems to be popular with my kids. And fake blond or not, you look great!

My hair color has been fake for so many years, I have no clue as to the real color. I just know it isn't very attractive and there is a lot of gray, especially in front... happens when you have a teenager.

the blonde version of you is very cute! keep being "fake" like this:)

The carousel ride looks fun, but I have to say your "fake" hair takes the cake this time. And, aahhem, my hair is also fake, but don't tell.

My kids love carousels, too!
And fake hair...I hear ya! But at least your roots are dark blonde...um, not gray! ;)

Looks like your children had a great time on the fake animals :) - I choose a fake horse before I mount a real one :)

Since I got my hair cut, it is really, really dark...not sure if I want to change it again, I am tempted though.

Great pictures for this week's hunt theme.

LOL! At least you are brave enough to share your "fakeness" with us! Kidding! Love the kitty your son selected since they are my favorite!

The pictures of the kids and you are so cute. I know what you mean as I am blonde also and as it has gotten darker blonde over the years I can't take and need the highlights also..LO

I have never seen a cat on a marry-go-round before. They look like they're having fun. Yea, I was soooo blond as a child, but I lost it in my early 20's and went red for the fun of it.

Happy Saturday, Biker Betty :)

Your kids are adorable and I love the fake animals! My hair color is fake too. I had to let the "super light blond" go because after the kids my hair came in so much darker (and grayer, go figure) so now I have 5 different colors to help camoflauge those nasty roots.

Carousels are so fun. My little baby even likes just watching the one in our mall go around. ;)

And I don't think for one minute you are fake. Those are *real* chemicals in those highlights, hee hee! Your hair looks great.

Looks like your kids are having a fabulous summer. Carousels, such great fun! It's always difficult for me to chose which animal to ride.

Hair color, yeah, I'm a fake. Love to be blond. But boy are my roots getting darker, I may have to start going for a light brown. Sigh.

Cute pics of your kids!
And I like your take on the fake part with you, funny! Something about getting your hair done though makes everyone feel better.
