We have that same addiction at my house and are desperately trying to get rid of it since she will be turning 5 soon!

What sweet pictures! Much cuter than my three year old with her pacifier! Such hard habits to break! Happy WW!

Hmm, I wonder what kind of response I'd get if I posted my 7 year old son's SAME addiction... It's not quite as cute and he'd probably never speak to me again...Maybe it would encourage him to overcome his addiction...probably not.

Cute pics!

Great photos, Lauren! Hope she gives up that particular addiction sooner or later :) You'll look back on these one day and think "gosh, I can hardly remember when she was that little" :)

I love it! I sucked my thumb until the 6th grade. The 6th grade! Can you believe that? Neither one of my children would (because I did try to force it on them :) ha ha

So sweet.

We keep reminding AJ that when she turns 4...4 year olds don't suck their thumb.

We are keeping our fingers crossed that it works!

So, so sweet, Lauren!

Ainsley was a thumb sucker until she turned 4 years old. A lot of the photos I have of her early on she is sucking her thumb.

If you ever want to hear the story of how she quit, let me know and I'll share with you. :-)

Just a sweet moment.

Laurel sucks her middle and ring fingers. I sucked my thumb until age 11, sigh. Don't think it scarred me too badly, ha.

Your daughter is beautiful. I love her hairbow. :)

Our son never was a thumb sucker but our foster daughter appears to be starting the addiction and I have no idea how to prevent it. I guess I won't. :)

She's a doll! {now the big question is how to get her to stop, huh? We're trying to break the one a sit of this addition -- not easy!}

We have two with that addiction here at ATH - and the third - well, I think she thinks dhe is missing out - as her thumb has been identified as being in that same position off and on lately! Go figure!
Blessings to you all!
Renee

I always feel a bit nostalgic seeing a thumbsucker. Oh, how I loved my thumb. I can almost taste the yummy flavor of my own thumb. But one day, it just didn't taste like that anymore. :)
