Hudson's First Well Baby Check Up!

Hudson had his first Well Baby Check up with Dr. Jones today! He was a little hungry when we got there (we'd been running a few errands and he was so good - until we got to the doctor's office), but he was such a good boy. Technically today was his two week check up because they couldn't fit us in before today, but they did schedule his two month appointment for when he is actually two months old, so we'll be able to get better percentiles.

Hudson's two week stats

Weight: 9 pounds, 9 ounces

Height: 20.5 inches

Head: 14.75

He has definitely chunked up a bit - he's put on two pounds since our lactation appointment three weeks ago. His head has gotten bigger as well, but he hasn't gotten any taller! He's been a complete angel all day while we ran errands (including an hour trip to Wal Mart waiting for an oil change). The only thing that Dr. Jones told us to watch for his pink eye. He has a blocked tear duct, which is best for us NOT to treat, but pink eye could be a side effect. Trust me, I will be looking out for that!

Anyway, I'm off to finish packing and cleaning. If there's one thing I hate about the movie Home Alone (besides the kid being left alone) it's how messy the house is when they leave. Ugh! Who wants to come home to that?!?
