Swim Lessons: Weeks 3 & 4

The kids have had so much fun at swim lessons this summer!
Week 3 was a little awkward because we got rained on every. single. day.  It was crazy!

I can not say enough about how perfect these lessons have been for Hudson this summer.  He started the season wailing at my parents' house when he got in their pool, and crying on the sidelines at his first week of lessons.
Now he's passed the first two stations in the first three weeks, and he's learning to float!  It's such an important skill, but I don't think he's going to get the hang of it before our last session ends this Thursday.  Reese just passed Station 3 a few weeks ago!
These two have so much fun interacting when they pass each other in the pool.  I think Hudson might be every one's favorite.  This kid's smile is contagious!
I love watching this girl jump.  She always shouts "Cannonball!"  And then she jumps in like this.

During Week 3...
Hudson passed Station 2!
And Wyatt passed Station 3 of his Children's program!

Week 4 was exciting because Reese finally got to be with her buddy Audrey.
And Wyatt worked hard on learning the proper technique for the crawl!
He was so mean to his big sister every morning this week, but she always takes such good care of him!
During Week 4, Reesie passed Station 4 and mastered her kicks and glides!

In a complete change of plans, we're going to have more lessons this week!  We usually do them every other week, but the week of the 12th has too much going on - a baseball camp for Wyatt, and the start of baseball season (how is that possible?).  There's no time for lessons in the mornings or the evenings!

I'm excited to see what they learn this week - but I can't believe that it means that we're one step closer to the end of summer break!
