"'Cause That's the Way Things Happen on the Polar Express!"

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without The Polar Express in this house! I feel like we watch it at least every other day, and at this point, Wyatt knows exactly what it going to happen and many of the words. When he first watched the movie after Thanksgiving, he decided that the stairs leading up to the storage closet in the playroom were a train. And since he is the Conductor (of course), it's his job to sit at the top and say "All aboard! Everyone, take your seats!" On this particular day Reese was his only passenger.
He also likes to sit there and tell whoever is getting "on" the Polar Express "TO THE NORTH POLE OF COURSE! Well, watcha waiting for?" He is a very good conductor, and has never once, for example, attempted to knock a passenger down two or three stairs.
Once he's bored with the "real" passengers, he heads over to his train table, where we have taken down the train that it came with and set up his Polar Express, complete with figurines of the Conductor, Santa Claus and the little boy and little girl. Occasionally I will hear him hum the theme to the movie, or I will hear him start singing "Here we only have one rule, never, ever let it cool! Hot chocolate!" He basically acts out the movie at the table, and it is hysterical to watch!
And this little girl is smart enough to know to stay away from the train table. Unless Daddy is nearby. In that case, she likes to go over and mess up just enough track for him to have to fix it instead of Wyatt. Wyatt knows how to put a few pieces back together, but if there is a major Reese-tastrophy, then Daddy has to take over....
